Small measurements. A big difference.
Find a fit that leaves room for life.
Clothing sizes can differ between products. Use the size chart on the individual product page rather than relying on a size your dog has worn before.
Three useful measurements
- Chest: measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Keep the tape level and comfortably loose.
- Back length: measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail while your dog is standing naturally.
- Neck: measure where a collar would normally sit, allowing comfortable space rather than pulling the tape tight.
Choose with the garment in mind
Compare your measurements with the garment’s chart and any fit notes in the description. A winter layer may fit differently from a light shirt. If measurements fall between sizes or point to different sizes, ask us before choosing.
A comfortable first try-on
Let your dog explore a new garment calmly. Check that it does not restrict walking, breathing or toileting, and remove it if your dog appears uncomfortable. Clothing is not a substitute for supervision or protection from unsafe weather.
